Restore...Refocus...

I’m not sure about you, but lately the energy over these last few weeks has been soooooo draining on me😔. Not to take away from those who have been directly affected by what’s occurring in the atmosphere, but I am ready for a shift! With that said, our journey will begin with a redirection of focus…what are you meditating on? 🤔

That which we allow to consume our thoughts, negative or positive, has a tendency to dictate our emotional well-being and eventually impacts us physically. Emotions are complex experiences of consciousness, sensations, or behaviors that reflect our personal significance of an event or thing. For example, the warm sun beaming on our face on a cool spring day, the joy we feel when embraced by a loved one, a gentle kiss on the back of my neck, I can go on and on here. Emotions pave the way towards our mental state as these experiences can be satisfying or dis-pleasurable. Our bodies then respond to our psyche and a positive or negative demeanor begins to physically manifest. So again, what are you mediating on?

To meditate is to think deeply or focus one's mind for a period of time. The intent is for relaxation however, it is difficult to achieve that when so much clutters our thoughts. In the midst of social distancing and self-quarantine now is a perfect time to unpack your mind, find your balance, and refocus. There could be some unresolved emotional ties to why you have a negative disposition, and that negativity is causing you to have physical ailments.

We are in a time of a reset. Each day is a brand new opportunity to be better than what you were yesterday. Meditate on things noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. Your standard is set! You are only in competition with yourself to be the best you possible. So, what will you meditate on?
