Day 3: Preparing for Pregnancy, Labor, and Delivery

Affirmation: I will not fear labor nor birth, it is a natural process and I am more than capable to endure it

Isaiah 41:10 NIV

“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

You may tend to become a little anxious the closer it gets to your due date. It is a common notion to fear what is unknown and unfamiliar, especially during the birthing process. Throughout the Bible we are taught not to fear, to not be anxious, and that we did not inherit a spirit that made us fearful. Why is that? The answer lies within the assurance that God is with us and in control. There is nothing we will face where our Great God is not there holding us up. Instead of approaching the unknown clothed in fear, ask God to wrap you in a robe of righteousness, fixing your gaze upon your Helper who has promised to strengthen you through your labor journey.

Prayer

Sovereign God I bless You for Your perfect love that drives out all fear. Your Holy Word continues to affirm that I am more than a conquer and able to face the unknown because you are with me. I speak faith in the place of fear, and surrender to the process of labor as You uphold me with Your righteous right hand.
